Thank you for your interest in the HWCDSB Summer School Credit Program.

For adult learners aged 18 and over who are looking to continue their education, please contact St. Charles Adult & Continuing Education or click here to schedule an appointment.

We wish all registered students a productive and successful summer of learning!

Full Credits (including Reach Ahead): July 2-29, 2026

Civics: July 2-15

Careers: Juy 16-29

Upgrades (online only): July 2-15

Co-op: July 2-31, 2026

Course delivery: There will be courses offered in person classes or asynchronous e-learing courses.

HWCDSB Students

1. Complete the corresponding Permission to Attend form (see below) with the course code of the course you would like to take. Must be signed by parent/guardian.
2. Log into myBlueprint on mysite and choose your summer course. (Steps 1 & 2 must be completed before the student meets with the guidance counsellor)
3. Submit the Permission to Attend form to your home school guidance counsellor. Form must be signed by school.
4. Your home school will verify and submit your form to St. Charles.

For non-HWCDSB Students

1. Complete the corresponding Permission to Attend form (see below) with the course code of the course you would like to take. Must be signed by parent/guardian.
2. Submit the Permission to Attend form to your home school guidance counsellor. Form must be signed by school.
3. Email the following to info@stcharles.ca:
   
   1. Fully completed Permission to Attend form
   2. Photo ID (Passport or a Birth Certificate accompanied by another form of photo ID)
   3. Copy of the student’s transcripts

For Reach Ahead (Grade 8 going into Grade 9) HWCDSB Students

1. Complete the Reach Ahead Permission to Attend form (see below) with the course code of the course you would like to take. Must be signed by parent/guardian.
2. Log into myBlueprint on mysite and choose your summer course.
3. Submit the Permission to Attend form to your home school  Form must be signed by school.
4. Your home school will verify and submit your form to St. Charles.

For Reach Ahead (Grade 8 going into Grade 9) non-HWCDSB Students

1. Complete the Reach Ahead Permission to Attend form (see below) with the course code of the course you would like to take. Must be signed by parent/guardian.
2. Submit the Permission to Attend form to your home school  Form must be signed by school.
3. Email the following to info@stcharles.ca:
   
   1. Fully completed Permission to Attend form
   2. Photo ID (Passport or a Birth Certificate accompanied by another form of photo ID)

Registration runs from April 1 until June 1, 2026.  

Late registration will open June 24, 25 (4-7pm) and June 29, 30  (8am-2pm)

Please register early as space and availability may be limited. Courses are subject to sufficient enrolment and staff availability. Should courses not run, students will be contacted and will have the option to learn through Online Summer School.
