Through active listening, prayer and right action, the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board is dedicated to honouring the journey of truth, reconciliation and healing and building positive connections and relationships of trust, honesty, and respect while strengthening collaborations with Indigenous communities, parents and families.
On Friday, September 30, 2022, the HWCDSB recognized the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day by wearing orange shirts and allocating a portion of the day for learning and reflection about Truth and Reconciliation.
