First celebrated in 1999, International FASD Awareness Day is dedicated to raising awareness of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) to improve prevention, diagnosis, and support for individuals with FASD.
This year’s theme, Everyone Plays a Part, encourages all of us to take action in supporting individuals with FASD and promoting healthy pregnancies. To raise awareness, the Red Shoes Rock campaign invites people to wear red shoes or clothing on September 9. Let’s join together to show our support.
