DID WE HAVE A FUTURE 'JARNAIL' AMOUNG US AT THE SOCCER CHALLENGE?

Last year head instructor of the Punjabi IL program, Ajit Chaggar, enlisted the help of the Police East-End D-Squad to organize a friendly Badminton challenge between the Punjabi students and the officers in order to dispel this belief.
This year a soccer challenge was organized under the umbrella of a program called ‘ProAction Cops and Kids’. The event took place on Saturday, September 20th at Our Lady of Peace School. Twenty officers volunteered to take part in the event where each student received a soccer ball, t-shirt, snacks, safety material and school supplies.
The IL Punjabi program would like to thank the HWCDSB for allowing this learning experience to take place and appreciate the time and generosity of the Police East-End’s D Squad. It was a great success!
